Back to school webinar for parents and carers

We the students and staff of Kensington Public School would like to acknowledge the Bidgigal and Gadigal clans of the Eora nation. We must respectfully remember that the land underneath our school always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

We honour the Elders who have shared their knowledge and show our gratitude to the traditional custodians who have cared for Mirabooka the Swan, Kurpinta the Kookaburra, Balamarra the Brolga and Pindaree the Lyrebird. Together we promise we will look after the trees, plants, flowers and animals that are a part of our school community.

We pay respect to the Elders both past, present and emerging as they hold the language, culture and traditions of the local Aboriginal people today.
