Facilities and Resources

Our school offers a wide range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning and engagement. Whether for study, sport, creativity or technology, our innovative learning environments are designed to give every student the opportunity to succeed. Dedicated learning spaces such as our Language classrooms, Performing Arts centre and Innovative IT Library Centre provide rich and diverse opportunities for students to explore their interests, develop their skills and thrive.

Our School Facilities

We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities include:

• bright and comfortable classrooms with new carpet

• a well-stocked library for reading, research and IT resources fostering a love of reading and STEM engagement

• a dedicated K-2 and 3-6 appropriate playground for fitness and fun with a new climbing and play structure

• an outdoor Wellbeing Hub that supports the opportunity for quiet play
• a Yarning Circle created in conjunction with our local Elder

• music and performances spaces for creative learning

• Greek and Mandarin language classrooms for dedicated language lessons
• covered outdoor learning area (COLA) providing shade and shelter year-round, as well as a space for assemblies, performances and sport

Resources and Technology

At Kensington Public School, we embrace modern technology and digital learning tools to enhance teaching and learning. All classrooms are fitted with interactive panels, providing dynamic and engaging learning experiences. We use platforms such as Google Workspace to build digital skills and support collaboration.

A strong focus on online safety is an important part of our approach, ensuring students learn to use technology responsibly and confidently. As a proud NSW public school, we also benefit from a wide range of shared programs and platforms available across the state, giving our students access to high-quality digital tools and learning opportunities. Students have the opportunity to use programs such as Reading Eggs, Matific, IXL and many more.
